Clinical significance: PG is used as a judgment index for screening and general survey of gastric cancer. PG is a highly sensitive marker for the detection of gastric mucosal atrophy. PG is used as the evaluation index of the therapeutic effect of eradicating Helicobacter pylori (HP)

Intended use: This kit is used for quantitative determination of pepsinogen II in human serum in vitro. PGII has a greater correlation with gastric fundus mucosa lesions (relative to gastric antrum mucosa), and its increase is related to atrophy of gastric fundus glandular tubes, gastric epithelial metaplasia or pseudopyloric gland metaplasia, and abnormal growth. It is mainly used for auxiliary diagnosis and evaluation of gastric diseases
