Clinical significance: In the early stage of infectious diseases, tissue damage and acute inflammation, the content of serum C4 may increase due to increased synthesis, which may be an acute phase reaction (see the determination of complement C3 content). In particular, the level of C4 in multiple myeloma may be 8 times higher than that in normal people.

Intended use: This kit is used to quantitatively determine the content of complement C4 in human serum in vitro. It is mainly used for auxiliary diagnosis of complement deficiency or immunodeficiency diseases.
