Clinical significance: the serum ferritin in patients with liver cancer is decreased when the treatment is effective, while the serum ferritin in patients with liver cancer is increased when the treatment is worsening and relapsed. If the treatment is continuously increased, the prognosis is poor. Therefore, the serum ferritin determination can be used as one of the therapeutic monitoring methods, especially for patients with negative AFP.

Intended use: This kit is used for quantitative determination of ferritin in human serum in vitro. It is mainly used for the auxiliary diagnosis of iron metabolism related diseases, such as hemochromatosis and iron deficiency anemia.
