Clinical significance:

(1) Myocardial infarction: it starts to rise from 9 to 20 hours after myocardial infarction, reaches the peak at 36 to 60 hours, and recovers to normal for 6 to 10 days, so it can be used as an auxiliary diagnostic indicator in the late stage of acute myocardial infarction.

(2) Liver diseases: acute hepatitis, chronic active hepatitis, liver cancer, liver cirrhosis, cold resistant jaundice, etc.

(3) Blood diseases: such as leukemia, anemia, malignant lymphoma, etc.

(4) Skeletal muscle injury, progressive muscular atrophy, pulmonary infarction, etc.

(5) The activity of LDH in pleural and ascitic fluid is often increased due to malignant tumor metastasis.
